today's simple pleasures involve reading + exploring the great outdoors. i captured a few of my favorite spots in paris including the jardin des tuileries + the great seine river. if you've popped into this wee blog here, you know i'm a big fan of author + environmantal activist lucy siegle. she's publishing a new book this july, turning the tide on plastic, and i'm anxiously awaiting its release. siegle is a masterly reporter and has a caustic sense of humor + sharp wit. i highly recommend her work to anyone interested in sustainability + viable solutions to green living. she gives me great hope for the unseen future.
